Description

A charming tribal rug from South Persia, filled with lively flora and fauna, within multiple borders in ivory and mid blue. The Qashqai are famous for their fear of wide open spaces and like to fit in as many small motifs and flowers as possible- also the occasional dog, goat and peacock :)

This 120 year old rug has survived well, with good even pile allover. No repairs save for new overbidding on the edges and both ends securely sewn.
