120 X 244cm Antique Hamadan Long Rug

1900 - 1920
Description

This elegant North West Persian rug has a camel coloured field with a delightful teal lattice enclosing red medallions. Multiple borders of flowers and vines enclose the rug. An inscription panel at the top end contains a date that is hard to decipher. The first three digits are 132 then possibly a 6 which would translate to 1908- seems about right!
