Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco jewellery of the 1920s is defined by geometric symmetry, clean linear forms, and bold colour contrasts, frequently combining diamonds with coloured gemstones such as sapphires.

Rings from this transitional period commonly utilised platinum settings to enhance diamond brilliance, paired with 18ct yellow or white gold shanks and natural cut gemstones.

Authentic period pieces feature hand-cut stones, such as old European or mine cut diamonds, openwork gallery settings, hand-applied millegrain edging, and contemporary period hallmarks.

A geometric plaque ring serves as a standalone statement piece on the index or ring finger, adding early twentieth-century detail to minimal modern tailoring or evening wear.

Clean gently using warm water with mild liquid soap and a soft-bristled brush, avoiding ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemicals to protect the settings and gemstones.
