N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Absolutely beautiful Antique Hand Painted Chinoiserie Carriage/Mantel Clock.
The dial is then beautifully set off by a pair of wonderful shaped fingers.

The case has beautiful chinoiserie painted scenes to the front, top, and sides featuring people, birds, houses and flowers with wonderful deep red base colour.
The clock ticks away and works perfectly via a two train movement that is wound via the door at the front. The movement is accessed via the back door and works off a balance wheel and chimes on a gong. The clock strikes once on the half past and the number of hours on the hour. Comes complete with its winding key!

The lacquer and paintwork is in very good condition which is unusual with these style clocks. There are a few small marks and some minor rubbing although this is hardly noticeable. Any questions about the condition please don’t hesitate to ask!
A truly beautiful, rare, and unique clock and a very hard to come by example.
The clock measures approximately:
8” / 20.5cm Tall with the handle down.
6.25” / 16cm Wide.
4.75” / 12cm Deep.
