The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

Reference: Rockingham 1745-1842, Alwyn & Angela Cox, pages 320-3211 and colour plate 345.
It measures 17.5cm (6 7/8") high and 11.5cm (4 1/2") by 7.5cm (3") wide.
The umbrella handle and tip have been professionally restored and a small section of the brim of his hat. The tip of his little finger is missing and the bottom tip of the penny coin he is holding between finger and thumb. Minor handling wear, a small scuff to the front of his hat and small paint loss underneath the hem of his coat.
