George IV Silver Caddy Spoon 1820

Description

A Superb Quality GEORGIAN SOLID SILVER TEA CADDY SPOON crafted by John Bettridge in 1820.

This lovely Tea Caddy Spoon is over 200 years old but is in excellent condition with no splits or repairs and the King’s Pattern decoration is as lovely now as the day it was crafted.

This wonderful piece would have once belonged to a wealthy Georgian Family and used daily in a time when tea drinking was an Art and very expensive.

Dimensions:

Length – 3.0” (75mm)

Weight – 10gm / 0.31ozt

Condition:

All of the items we have for sale are antiques i.e. they are more than 100 years old (unless otherwise stated) and have therefore been used and preloved. As such they will have age and usage related marks. Where an item has minor faults or imperfections these are noted below:
