An attractive small elm 18th Century six plank chest on raised feet. The grain and patina of this antique chest is notably beautiful, with plenty of character as you would expect from an 18th century piece. The antique six plank chest has a decorative escutcheon, original hinges, and a clean interior with fitted candle box. A good example of an 18th Century six plank chest.

Height – 48cm / Width – 80cm / Depth – 35cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including staining to the top (pictured). There is slight bowing to the lid, only visible from behind, this however does not affect the closing of the lid top. The internal candle box is lacking its lid, however the interior is clean and suitable for storage. Overall, a rather lovely elm six plank chest.
