N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 1940s.
This stunning Charles Frodsham bracket clock has a walnut case with a lovely pagoda top. The top then features a brass carry handle as well as a lovely ormolu mount to the front.
This then leads to a moulding to the bottom of the case which is finished by four thin, square feet.

The dial is then brass and has a silvered chapter ring set out in Roman numerals with smaller Arabic numerals marking out the minutes. The centre of the dial them has a wonderful pitted effect with four lovely, decorative spandrils to each corner. The chapter ring is then signed to the bottom by the prestigious maker “FRODSHAM LONDON” showing that the clock was made by Charles Frodsham and is of the upmost quality. The dial is then finished by two lovely, shaped, blued steel hands.

The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is ticking away as it should and comes complete with its winding key. The movement is then stamped to the back “MADE IN ENGLAND”.
Would make a fantastic addition to any home or collection.
