The cherub then stands upon a lovely round, green marble base which sets the piece off fantastically and gives an element of colour to the piece. Finally the case is finished by an intricately cast bronze base which the marble sits upon giving the clock a lovely quality look.

The dial is then incorporated into the starred globe supported by the cherub. The dial is set out in bronze roman numerals which sit nicely on the globe. Finally the dial has two lovely shaped hands which finish it nicely.

The movement is then accessed and wound from the back and ticks away as it should. The movement comes complete with its winding key and runs via a balance wheel.
