The front of the case has a fantastic knotted look being “burr” walnut which has a lovely rich colour. The front of the case then features an array of fantastic, scrolling ormolu mounts made of bronze which give the clock a stunning look. The case then features a three wonderful shaped finials to the top as well as four feet to each corner of the base.

The dial is then set out in Arabic numerals with smaller dashes to the outside marking the minutes. The centre then has a wonderful, painted, floral design which ties the dial together perfectly. The dial then has a lovely domed glass set it a brass bezel as well and two nicely shaped hands.

The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is ticking away as it should via a balance wheel and comes complete with its winding key. The movement is then signed to the back “LENZKIRCH AUG 1 MILLION 171482” showing that it is made by the famous German maker Lenzkirch.
