Asmalyk were made in pairs to decorate the camel of the bride, on her way to the wedding ceremony. This single example features one of the rarest designs, five columns with trees in. Two of the compartments have a wonderful teal colour background while the other three are terracotta red. Very finely woven and in excellent condition, this rare piece of Turkoman art is highly collectable and will look fantastic on your wall.
