Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exceptional, fully restored, very rare original Victorian gentleman’s club sofa with coil sprung base and rare Moustache back.

This is one of the best-looking sofas around, it has the original hand dyed leather upholstery, the back cushions are upholstered meaning they are fixed, they are coil sprung as well as the base so very comfortable, the back line is as mentioned a Moustache back, very rare.

We have sensitively restored the sofa as mentioned, the leather has been lightly stripped back then hand dyed this glorious cigar brown colour. The sofa has kept all its original style charm and charisma, just imagine sitting in a Mayfair gentleman’s club in circa 1860, brandy in one hand cigar in the other, an amazing time.
