They are conical in shape and have a cut glass star on the base.
The labels and jugs have matching silversmiths marks for S.Blanckensee & Son Ltd and the jugs and one label are hallmarked for Chester 1934 and the other lable is Birmingham 1934.
These jugs are usually Scottish in origin and are used for serving individual portions of whisky equivalent to a gill.
Both are in excellent condition and are perfectly usable today.
Each one measures 3 1/2? (9 cms) tall x 2 1/2? (6.5 cms) across the base.
