Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The mirror with an architectural pediment edge with a rising leaf moulding. The centre flanked by swan neck pediments, finished with flower heads and hanging leaves. These flanks likewise edged with a leaf moulding.

The body with good and well figured walnut veneers finished to the inner edge with a gilted leaf decorated slip, holding the bevelled edge plate. The re-entrant edges of the mirror decorated with flowers, fruits and wheat husks.
