Dutch Silver Knitting Needle Guards - Late 18th Century

Description

A super pair of Dutch silver knitting needle guards dating to the late 18th century.

These are super condition and are suspended on a long chain, which is the original but has been extended by the addition of a further piece of chain which is also silver.

Both guards are marked one is rubbed and the other is very small but it does appear to be a makers mark.

Each guard is 4.5 cm long

Original chain is 25 cm

Additional chain is 12 cm
