Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Triple Wardrobe C1900

Antique Ewardian Inlaid Mahogany Triple Wardrobe and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with inlaid Greek Key moulding above a crossbanded frieze with wide satinwood crossbanding. To the centre there are two moulded panelled doors both of which are beautifully inlaid with satinwood and with original brass handle and with an internal shelf. This is above an open mirror backed compartment with shaped frieze and above two short drawers over three long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles. Each drawer front has wide crossbanded stringing, flanked on either side is a full length mirrored door set within a finely strung mahogany frame and with original brass handles and working key. Internally they are are all hanging with brass rail and to one side there is a deep drawer to the base. The wardrobe is raised on a plinth base on bracket feet and separates for ease of transporting.
