Edwardian Silver Mounted Turquoise Enamelled Glass Scent Bottle by John Grinsell Birmingham 1910

Description

This gorgeous silver mounted turquoise glass cologne bottle is dated Birmingham 1910. The slightly panelled glass body heightened with a wrap-around yellow and white enamel flower garland. The base with snapped pontil mark. Mounted with a fully hallmarked hinged silver lid. The neck with a clear glass stopper.

JG&S for John Grinsell & Sons

Lion Passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "l" for 1910.

Dimensions:

Height: 17cm / 6 inches.

Diameter: 8cm / 3 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

No chips, no cracks.

Silver lid in good condition.
