The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 11570378 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is gold plated and is the Empress model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has minor marking but overall it is in nice condition for such an early piece. The case has a screw on front and back.

The glass lens has light surface marking from use although very acceptable.
The white dial is in lovely condition with original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
