Description

A delightful pair of early 19thc English Porcelain inkwells formed as two drunken characters leaning across a large barrel.
Dudson in the 1830's/40's. In the pot banks ledger, they are described as 'Tipsy Lawyer.'
An amusing Staffordshire pair of pottery figures slumped over a barrel with his wig starting to slide off
Sections on each for quill pens. In overall good condition with the odd minor chip.
Great characterful pieces that have survived well given their intended use and age.
