Georgian Oak Bureau Desk

A solid oak Georgian bureau desk with fitted interior and leather writing surface (worn). Pulling down the writing desk reveals a spectacular fitted interior with a series of drawers, pigeon holes and compartments. The six drawers to the base have brass drop handles and escutcheons to each drawer. Overall, a fantastic Georgian oak bureau desk, a great addition to any home office or study.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including ink stains to the top surface and the internal leather writing surface is worn (pictured), with obvious wear along the fold, especially at the hinges. All the drawers run well and include original handles. Structurally solid and sound, overall a rather charming Georgina oak desk.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
