Mid 19th.c. portrait of a lady c.1860. Half length portrait of a young woman with a rather circumspect expression wearing a black dress with a white lace collar with a blue neck scarf. Painted in a lively naive or vernacular style in oil on canvas. Presented as found in the original slim gilded wooden frame. With a repair to the top of the canvas and some general wear. Otherwise very good original condition.
