This is a superb and most usable desk in what can only be described as excellent condition. The colour and finish is really good and the locking combination which locks all the drawers on the middle drawer is fully operational as is the lock which has a working key. There is a deep file drawer on the base of one pedestal all the others are normal sizes. The handles are brass and although not being original go with this desk very well in our opinion. The drawer fronts are raised and the sides of the pedestals are all panelled and raised similar to the drawer fronts. The back is polished so it is able to sit in the middle of a room not just against a wall. Displaying a Globe Wernicke plaque this a a cut above the competition in many ways. The size is good for a working desk 86cms deep and 152 wide, so room for your computer and files, also there are the two most useful slides at the top of the pedestals to give extra work space if needed. The top has a superb leather in perfect condition in black, {does not conflict with any colour scheme and this has an attractive gold tooling. This desk comes to pieces for transport, to fit easily into its new home..... To finish off if required there is a great Captains chair that would sit with this desk really well, full details of that are on our web site.
