Description

A fine French carriage clock in a silver plated case. Caryatid stylised female figures to the four columns. A decorative fluted carrying handle. A circular enamel dial with 'Fleur de Lis' blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong numbered 768. Push button repeating. The original lever escapement. Circa 1880.
