Early 20th Century Desk with Green Painted Top

An early 20th century antique writing desk. The desk has a rectangular top with an inset writing surface. Originally there would have been an inset leather top – this has been removed and the top has been overpainted in a green paint finish. The desk has three fitted drawers, each with brass D cup handles. Raised on four turned legs.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with various signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the top surface and to the legs (pictured). The antique writing desk remains structurally solid and sound. Originally the desk would have had an inset leather writing surface – this has been removed at some point in time and has been overpainted green. Overall, a neat desk of good proportions.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
