The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Gilt rim and band inside the rim and delicate gilt decoration down the fine ring handle. Marked with pattern number 224 in purple enamel.

It measures 6cm (2 3/8") high and 6.6cm (2 9/16") rim to rim.
Condition is good with no damage or repair. Some minor flaked losses to the enamel of the mother's cape and very minor wear to the gilt rim. Very slight discolouration to the base.
