Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The base has two fitted drawers with small wooden knobs, above two blind panel cupboard doors. The cupboard doors open to reveal a spacious interior with a single shelf. The glazed mahogany bookcase is raised on a plinth base and separates at the mid-section for ease of transport and movement. A fine example in wonderful condition throughout. Of large proportions.

CONDITION REPORT:
In particularly good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some minor age-related marks to the cupboard door fronts, but overall, good. The glazed mahogany bookcase remains structurally solid and sound. The glass remains intact with no apparent breaks or cracks. Overall, a fine example of a Victorian glazed mahogany bookcase.
