Cased Victorian Silver Napkin Ring by Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1895

Description

This delightful Gothis style Victorian silver napkin ring bears the marks of the excellent silversmiths Hilliard & Thomason and is dated Birmingham 1895. The napkin ring typically engraved with stylised flower motifs surrounding a vacant rectangular reserve. It has a good silver gauge, a testimony to its quality and feels satisfyingly heavy.

Presented in its original velvet and satin lined leather box.

Hallmarks:

H&T for Hilliard & Thomason

Lion Passant.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Date letter "v" for 1895.

Condition:

Very good.

Dimensions and Weight:

Height: 3 cm - 1.2 inches.

Diameter: 4.5cm - 2 inches.
