Brian Loomes Lists 2 Matthew Bunces of London. Both Circa 1695-90.

Matthew Bunce I - a 1685 in CC to William May of London

Matthew Bunce II - a 1690 in CC to John Benson of London. Free in CC 1698. Mar 1698-9.

I am unable to say which one this is. Research seems to imply that Matthew I went bankrupt and may therefore have subsequently joined John Benson before finally Qualifying to be Free in 1698.

The 8 Day Movement (Strikes the Hours on the O'Clock) has been checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Good and Full Antique Order with Brass Dial, Silvered Centre, Seconds and Chapter Rings and Date Window.

The Oak Case is of good proportions and has Good Colour, Graining and Patination. 81.75in or 207.5cm.
