Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
An ideal antique large drop leaf dining table for space saving.

The table features no joints to the top surfaces using very wide (around 2 feet) Honduras flame grain solid Mahogany which has a simple double reeded edge moulding. To the underside freeze of the tops features a simple boxwood inlay which carries across the legs.

We have just cleaned and polished this lovely table to give a natural shine and enhance the french polished finish.
This table has a very small form yet is versatile from having 2 large drop-down leaves managing to comfortably seat 4 to 6 people and be used as a dining room, breakfast table or occasional/hall table. This table features 4 turned typical Georgian legs 2 of which are hinged on finger joints to support the leaves when opened. This table benefits from having its original polished brass cup castors to all legs which aids its easy movement. The table is constructed in a solid way with tight Mortise and Tenon joints and the tops are mostly flat and not twisted. The one leaf has a historic split which is still strong.

This table also comes complete with the heat and spill resistant table protector which is shown in the pictures.
Please note; Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character.
