Description

A neat, 18th century antique Welsh oak coffer with drawers. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior. The three panel front sits above two small fitted drawers, each with ring pull handles. Good colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top and front (pictured). There is a shrinkage crack or shake to the top (pictured). The Welsh oak coffer remains structurally solid and sound. There is evidence of old historic wood worm in places – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution.
