Description

A very fine and original burr walnut and amboyna display cabinet with boxwood stringing and all original gilded applications, lock and key. Original delicately faded linings and all in excellent condition. Circa 1880.

This beautiful cabinet is ideal as a display cabinet for collectables or as a bookcase. There are many levels of quality for this type of furniture and this example is at the top of that list. It has survived a long life and now has the most desirable patina and 'look' .
