This simple and elegant silver photo frame is hallmarked for Chester and dates circa 1910. The wide plain silver borders give it a timeless appeal. Original pale oak back and easel.

Hallmarks:

Makers marks erased.

Chester Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter very faint, possibly "L" for 1918.

Condition:

Silver in very good condition.

Hallmarks quite worn.

Oak back and easel in excellent condition.

Width: 12cm / 4.6 inches.

Aperture:

Height: 13cm / 5 inches.
