Unusual transitional design with Arts & Crafts and Renaissance revival influence in the manner of Art Furniture makers such as Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. Large and highly decorative copper plated handles, strap hinges and lock plates to the front. Note the particularly nice dolphins to the lock plates on the doors, reminiscent of the designs of William De Morgan. Moulded door and drawer fronts and a shaped apron over the shelf. Unusual curved and moulded plinth around the base and raised on short out-swept bracket feet with a moulded apron between. Superiour quality with solid oak sides and drawer linings. Registered design number 332414 stamped to the top of each drawer front. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
