A beautifully carved mid to late 16thc Oak ''Romayne'' Roundel Panel , showing a handsome gentleman resplendent in his tunic and hat complete with feather.....I also like the way the carver has shown his ''double chin'' a sign of good breeding in those times....very good natural colour and on the reverse is still signs of the old paintwork under lined paper.
English / French C1550-70.
