This FINE PARAGON PORCELAIN CABINET PLATE entitled 'A CAVALIER' after J.L.E. MEISSONIER' bears the artist's signature to the front 'F. MICKLEWRIGHT'.

The elaborate, finely-gilded border is stunning.

The PLATE dates from circa 1910 and bears the PARAGON CHINA mark to the back.

There are no cracks, chips or restoration.
