A George III mahogany tray-top bedside commode of unusual design in excellent condition throughout having undergone light repairs and conversion making a drawer where the pot use to be this is a very common practise making this a useful, and versatile piece.
The finish has been revived and waxed and now showing good colour and patina.
All the handles are original handles although the centre drawer handle has oval back plates.
The doors are made from very heavily figured solid mahogany which does tend to warp.
Please note the right-hand door is warped this does not affect the opening or closing of the doors.
