Hepplewhite Mahogany Butterfly Pembroke Table Circa 1780

Description

Very fine George III Hepplewhite figured mahogany pembroke table with shaped butterfly thin top with moulded edge. Fitted with bow fronted oak lined drawer to frieze with original handles. Lovely inlaid shell patera to top of legs which are square tapered with reeded facings and wonderful carved toes fitted with brass roller casters. Double lopers to support flaps when up. All in superb un-touched original condition with no repairs. Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. This is a top quality table with good provenance. Recommended.

Size; 28" high, 35" x 28" open, 28" x 20" closed.
