A charming Edwardian period inlaid mahogany bonheur du jour. Of multi-functional usage as a writing desk and/or sewing table. The top section with a pull down writing slope , with fitted compartments behind. This is lockable (key supplied) and has a leather writing surface. The drawer beneath is compartmentalised and below that is a pull-out sewing bag. All standing on elegant tapering legs, united by an under-tier and terminating in original brass and ceramic caps and castors. Decorated with boxwood stringing throughout and inlaid floral marquetry panels in boxwood and satinwood. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a good colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
