Four Louis Xv Style Open Armchairs C.1930

1920 - 1940
Description

Smart set of four Louis XV style open armchairs c.1930. Shapely moulded beechwood frames. Curved backs with carved floral detail to the cresting rails. Padded backrests and arms over sprung seats all upholstered in a red floral pattern velvet damask with brass studs to the edges. Swept arm supports, shaped and carved apron and cabriole legs with further carved detail to the knees and feet. Some wear to the upholstery though clean and perfectly serviceable. Otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
