Art Deco 3.27 Carat Old Cut Diamond & Sapphire Target Cluster Ring, Circa 1915

1900 - 1920
Description

A unbelievably beautiful target ring. This gorgeous and impressive antique ring features a big and chunky cushion shaped old mine cut diamond set in milgrained platinum and surround by sixteen custom cut sapphires with a further halo of of thirty-two eight-cut diamonds in the outside. Fancy platinum scroll work in the gallery leads to diamond-set spear-shaped shoulders, to a slim triple shank. Stunningly crafted.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309637).

Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre. The sapphires are cailbré cuts. The smaller diamonds are eight-cuts.

Colour – The centre diamond is I, the outer diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The centre diamond is VS2. The smaller diamonds are VS2 to SI1. All the sapphires are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The centre is approximately 3.27 carat, with a further approximate 0.32 carat of smaller diamonds. The total approximate sapphire weight is 0.32 carat.

Circa – 1915.

Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 15.2 x 15.2mm and sits 7.3mm from the finger.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
