Description

A fabulous Edwardian silver concave pocket hip flask with hallmarks for Chester 1902 and makers’ mark for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. In beautiful condition, as if hardly ever used, the hip flask is made of plain cast silver and has no crest or initials inscribed, as was often the case. The hallmarks for Chester 1902 and makers’ mark appear on one side of the flask, and the lion hallmark for silver and date mark for 1902 are also stamped on the opposite side. The lid is connected with a strong hinge, and the knob of the lid twists to open or close the flask as necessary. A really lovely Chester piece, in beautiful condition.
