Hingstons of Wilton has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
This makes it easy for you to transport it in and around your home.

In the 1960’s it was converted to be used to house a record player and speakers. The person who converted it did do a fine job, and whilst it is sad for us that it is not still a chest of drawers it is still a fine piece of furniture that can be useful for the 21st century home.

It can now be used as an audio or drinks cabinet.
At the top you have the original concealed cushion front drawer that pulls open.
Under this you have the drawer fronts that have been converted to 2 drop fronts to reveal an open interior to be used for audio system or drinks. There is a hole in the backboards to feed through wiring. This can be blocked if you want this for a drinks and glasses unit.

This is still a wonderful and attractive piece for the best rooms of your home.
Imagine the joy of ownership this will bring and the conversations you will have with your family and friends as you relay how this is now a drinks or audio cabinet.
