Antique Art Nouveau Pill Box - Sterling Silver, Birmingham 1902

Description

A wonderful and very stylish pillbox, a good size making it very usable today. The top has the most wonderful Art Nouveau lady on the lid with stylized flowers. The lid fits perfectly well, a good firm catch.

The interior is gilded and has benefits from a mirror on the inside of the lid.

The underside is hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 together with the makers initials HM for the silversmith Henry Matthews.

Excellent condition, measuring 1 5/8" in diameter.
