Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The forks are made from sterling silver, each hallmarked for London 1885 together with the Queen Victoria's head mark and the makers initials EH for the famous quality silversmith William Hutton & Sons - Edward Hutton. The forks have stunning engraved work, making them a highly decorative set.

The handles are made from think solid Mother of Pearl shell with beautifully carved tips.
Excellent condition with each fork measuring 7" in length and the box measuring 7 1/2" x 6".
