A good set of eight 19th Century ash and elm ladder back dining chairs. Each having turned uprights with five wavy ladder back supports, rushed seats and raised on turned supports united by stretchers with pad feet. English circa 1830-1840, excellent condition, a lovely colour and patination. Extremely sturdy, no wobbles and the seats have been re-rushed by the previous owners

Dimensions: 40" high x 19" wide x 15" deep (seat height 17")
