A lovely Victorian Burr Walnut Davenport. Brass galleried top which opens to reveal stantionary compartments and pen tray. Above a tooled leather writing slope which again opens to reveal a satinwood interior fitted with four drawers two being dummy drawers. A bank of four drawers to the side with opposing bank of dummy drawers. Having wonderful carved legs with inset castors. These once forgotten desks have now had a new lease of life with the birth of tables and iPads. They provide a perfect viewing angle and height with oodles of clever storage. The veneers are full of character and have a wonderful colour. Desk chair available in separate listing.
