Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The pediment edged with a bolection, and concaved stepped mould. The bolection mould running in a step to the sides, and sweeping to scrolled bottom corners, flanking an arcaded centre. The body of the mirror with good figured walnut, enclosing the leaf carved gilt slips, holding the bevelled plate. The mirror finished with a pair of candles sconces, issuing from oval plates, and scrolling to dished drip pans, and vase shaped candle holders.
