Very Large 19th Century Brass Preserve Pan 39cm

Description

A very large mid 19th Century brass preserve pan. This is a very heavy substantial piece of 19th Century kitchenware, weighing just over 8kg. Wonderful colour and patina.

The condition is very good with no major dents or splits. Some surface wear due to age and use. Blackened to the interior and the base. Good strong swing handle. Very slight misshaping to rim, mentioned for clarity.

Measures at rim approx 39cm x 36cm.

Height approx 20cm

Height to top of handle when extended approx 46cm.
