A French brass cased four glass mantel clock. Bevelled glass panels with opening front and rear doors. A higher quality 'gorge variation' case. An enamel dial with blued steel hands. A mercury compensating pendulum. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell by Japay Freres. Circa 1890.
