A charming antique blanket box. The four-panel, sunken, hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior. Also, it has a four panel front with panelled sides. Raised on four stile feet.

Height – 70.5cm / Width – 140.5cm / Depth – 59cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with various signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks to the top and front (pictured). The hinges have been replaced. There is shrinkage to each of the panel in the lid. Also, the lock plate has been removed. The coffer remains of good construction. Evidence of old historic woodworm that is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution.
